I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

If you forgot your password, you will need to reset it. Follow the steps below to reset your e-Builder password:

  1. From the login page, click Forgot your password.
  2. Enter your username and click Next.
  3. Answer the security question. You will receive the "Password Reset" email only if you answered it correctly. If you do not see the email in your Inbox, check your SPAM folder. If you still do not see the email, answer the security question again or call your e-Builder administrator.
  4. You will receive an email including your temporary password. The next time you log in, you will be required to create a new password.
Why didn't I get my "Password Reset" email?

There are a few things that might have caused this:

You might have used the wrong username. To protect your account's security, we cannot confirm whether the username you entered is registered with our system. You may want to access an alternate email inbox to ensure that your account is not listed under a different email address.

Your email may have been sent to your Spam/Junk folder. To ensure that future e-Builder emails are not marked as spam or junk mail, follow the steps below for your email client:

Which URL address should I use to access e-Builder?

The e-Builder application is accessed through multiple environments based on customer region or type.

I am unable to reset my password. How do I login?

If you are using the correct username but still aren't receiving the email, make sure you are using the right URL to the environment you are attempting to access.

How do I log in to the e-Builder Bid Portal?

If you are a contractor attempting to submit a bid in e-Builder, you must use the URL provided in the invitation email.

If you are a bid manager accessing the e-Builder Bid Portal, you must use the URL address that corresponds to the correct e-Builder environment.

I am a new e-Builder user. How do I login?

My license expired. How do I renew it?

If you access e-Builder through your organization’s account and received the following error, "Your access to this account had expired. Contact your administrator to request your access be restored." contact your e-Builder administrator.

If you purchased an individual license and received the following error, "Individual License Warning: Our records indicate that your license has expired. Please renew your license now by clicking the renew license button below."

  1. Click "Renew License"
  2. Select the type of license you wish to purchase and then confirm that you have read the Terms and Policy.
  3. Click ‘Proceed to Checkout” and then enter your payment information.
How do I login to e-Builder using Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to securely access e-Builder and other internal applications by using just one set of credentials.

If you access e-Builder through single sign-on (SSO) and you are unable to login, please contact your internal e-Builder administrator or IT department for assistance.

How do I login to e-Builder using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an extra layer of security required by some customers when users log into e-Builder.

MFA users need to have an authentication app downloaded to their mobile device. The user syncs the app with e-Builder, and then receives a randomly generated code that must be entered each time the user logs in to confirm their identity.

There are many authentication apps available from the Apple Store and Google Play, but not all of them will support the security protocol used by e-Builder.

The following authentication apps have been tested by e-Builder to work correctly with our current login sequence. Since apps are constantly in development, you may have a different result with the most current version of any app.

When I try to log in, I receive an error that states “The entered login credentials are currently being used for multiple sessions. Please log out of one or more of the sessions to continue”—how do I regain access to e-Builder?

Individual users will be limited to 2 concurrent login sessions with the same username and password credentials.

A session is considered open unless the user logs out. Users who exit e-Builder without logging out (such as closing the browser window) may end up with extra open sessions. All open sessions will expire after 60 minutes of inactivity.

If a user is unable to log in due to too many open sessions and cannot wait the 60 minutes for the existing open sessions to close, the user may contact e-Builder technical support to have the sessions terminated.
