e-Builder Launches Fourth Upgrade of 2011 to Its Capital Program Management Software

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – December 22nd, 2011 –e-Builder, developer of capital program management and construction project management software, has launched e-Builder 7.11, fourth upgrade in 2011 that focuses on user-driven usability enhancements and a new Plan Room feature that facilitates sharing, reviewing, marking up, and searching for project plans, specifications, and other project documents. This upgrade also includes enhancements submitted by clients at the 2011 e-Builder User Conference in October.

e-Builder collects user feedback through different channels, including a ‘like-dislike’ feature on every software screen that provides an instant way to prioritize user feedback. Some of the usability enhancements driven by user feedback in e-Builder 7.11 include: faster process workflow set up for project administrators and users; increased flexibility when creating bid packages; streamlined steps for issuing and tracking submittals; and faster status updating for  scheduled tasks.

This latest upgrade also brings a new Plan Room feature that complements e-Builder’s enterprise document management and collaboration capabilities. The e-Builder Plan Room extends a user’s ability to configure how project documents are organized, related and displayed to everyone working and bidding on a project, and makes it easier to share plans, drawings, specifications and other job-related documents, such as bid sets and ASIs.
