During this presentation, attendees will get a thorough understanding of strategies that facility owners can define to manage the BIM process while getting the most benefit and value. Attendees will also learn how to recognize potential roadblocks that could impede the process, and ways to overcome these obstacles.
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center has been a leader in using technology to improve capital project delivery. The CIP team was instrumental in the development of a construction app for the iPad that enables workflow automation capabilities from the field. They have also worked with Proactive Controls Group to adopt BIM as a project delivery process in a way that the project team, and ultimately the university, can achieve all the benefits promised by this emerging process.
