Collaborative Program Management
Technologies and Process Change

Meeting of the South Florida Regional Chapter of the
Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)
Sponsored by e-Builder

Improving Project Planning, Execution and Delivery

The topic of leveraging technology to improve project planning, execution, and delivery is on the minds of capital project owners, as more and more organizations implement program management tools to improve business processes. During this meeting of the CMAA Local Chapter, industry professionals will focus on emerging technologies in the field of program and project management, and how these tools are being deployed by capital project owners to improve project delivery capabilities. Additionally, the discussion will cover the effect of these technologies on CM services and profitability, and how CM firms can leverage these to win more work.

The last several years have seen owners taking more responsibility to improve their processes by leveraging innovative technology. Owners and CM firms alike have found digital collaborative project management tools and online documentation a way to enhance communication and effectiveness, increase quality, and decrease project costs.
