
Prior to implementing e-Builder, construction project data was managed in multiple systems which created process inefficiencies and required duplicate data entry. This in turn made it difficult and time consuming to provide project executives with accurate and timely project status, which is needed to effectively manage project costs and change orders.
e-Builder's integrated project management system enables the Inova team to define a standard set of processes that will speed turn-around time for contract approvals, RFIs, submittals, pay apps, change orders, invoice approvals, and more. These processes can then be accurately monitored, analyzed and refined over time for additional time and cost reductions. The resulting system will ensure delays are averted and changes can be proactively managed to avoid cost overruns. In addition, e-Builder will interface with Inova's enterprise accounting system (i.e., Lawson) to eliminate duplicate data entry, improve data integrity and provide more visibility into Inova's capital program for project executives.
