Since its inception in 1902, Cedars-Sinai has become the largest nonprofit hospital in the western United States. The Cedars-Sinai Medical Center main campus, encompassing nearly 24 acres and over 1.75 million square feet of space, includes a multitude of buildings providing inpatient acute care and outpatient services to the Los Angeles County area population hovering around 10 million.

The Cedars-Sinai Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction (FDPC) team is currently managing the implementation of a $1 Billion Facility Master Plan.

The Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, totaling over 800,000 square feet (400,000 square feet of program space and 400,000 square feet of structured parking), is part of this program and is the biggest single project undertaken by the CSMC FDPC team. The program services associated with the development of this large, brand new, ground-up pavilion demand the highest level of performance by the CSMC FDPC team.
