Enabling an Integrated Project Delivery Approach
Presented by Robert (Bob) Cull, Executive Project Director for the Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion
Cedars-Sinai is currently leveraging e-Builder to help manage the ongoing design and construction of the Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, a new 900,000 sf project housing translational research and outpatient care.
In this podcast, Bob Cull talks about how he and the rest of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center FDPC team has enabled an integrated team approach where all project stakeholders – AE, GC, Owner, CM – have an ‘equal place at the table' where everyone's expertise can yield shared benefits. This team includes Hathaway-Dinwiddie (General Contractor) and HOK (Architect).
Enabling this process requires a thoughtful, methodical approach facilitated through the use of the latest technology tools that include BIM and collaborative project management software. The presentation will highlight how other organizations can enable this approach and the potential benefits.
